Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound is a rapidly growing and constantly
developing diagnostic imaging modality.  With recent improvements in
equipment and processing capabilities, the future of all ultrasound
modalities is becoming more exciting year by year.  In this site you will
learn suggested methods of building a Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
base, or how to build on your existing skills.

While ultrasound is technically operator dependant, the benefits of
resolution and cost effectiveness cannot be ignored.  While being a
part of this great Country of the USA has gained patients access to
amazing imaging benefits such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
and Computed Tomography (CT), such availability has somewhat
drawn away from the ability to utilize all aspects of the Diagnostic
Imaging toolbox such as Ultrasound when we think of Musculoskeletal
disorders.

In this website, the veiwer should be able to walk away with a basic
understanding of the technical aspects behind MSK Ultrasound and its
amazing capabilities and its limitations (while few).
